About
An 1889 guest home now owned and operated by registered medium, author and teacher “Dr. Lauren” Thibodeau, PhD, The Bird House (formerly known as the Sunset View Guest House) in Lily Dale is about 100 steps (per “Mr. Ed” Thibodeau, who counted) to the eastern shore of middle Cassadaga Lake–and has a terrific view anytime!
We offer five guest rooms and two bathrooms to a maximum of eight guests, making us a great choice for small groups of friends and family, or small retreats with one of the best guest:bathroom ratios in town. We feature a common area downstairs where you can relax and gather with old friends and new. Of course we’re all about Lily Dale, but for those interested in exploring the amazing natural vistas this part of New York State is known for, we’re open year-round. You’ll find Amish, antique and art trails; beer, wine and spirits trails; hiking, cross-county skiing, and snowmobiling trails–and much more to do nearby. We’re longtime Lily Dale and Chautauqua county residents and are happy to suggest sights to see and experiences to explore. You could spend a relaxing several days–even a week with –exploring the local area, and we hope you will.

This room has one standard twin (single) bed and one twin bed, which is an adjustable bed, ideal for those who prefer to elevate their heads or feet. Accommodates one or two persons.
The Hummingbird Room
$107.35 per night
This room has two single (twin) beds. Accommodates two people. Upon request at booking, we can make convert the twin beds into a king-size bed for stays of two nights or more.
The Goldfinch Room
$107.35 / $125.30 per night
This room has one double (full) bed and accommodates one or two persons.
The Cardinal Room
$107.35 / $125.30 per night
